This is not really a problem, but I'm wondering if it could develop into one. I have a 90 mtx, and whenever I push in the clutch pedal it makes a clicking sound. I can feel it click when I push it in too. My clutch functions fine at the moment, but I'm wondering if this clicking in the pedal could be signs of something bad on the horizion. Any thoughts on what it could be would be much apprecitated.

If it is clicking under the dash board at the pedal, it could be either the starter interlock switch or the cruise disengage switch that are attached to the pedal linkage. These noises aren't a problem unless the switch is non-functional.

If the noise is originating from the clutch bell housing, it is likely sourced from a worn throwout bearing and/or pressure plate fingers. That connection is the weakest link in the SHO's clutch.

No, the clicking is not coming from the clutch bell housing. Glad to hear that it's not a problem. Thanks for the info! thumb
