cleaning/keeping internals clean during rebuild

I’m planning on vacuuming and flushing with oil, anything else i should do? and how necessary is assembly oil?

If your talking about cleaning after ball hone just use diesel to clean. It's just really like super thin oil and cleaner. You can use assy l-u-b-e (since they banned that word )
but I just used regular oil for everything mostly rings don't want syn oil on those at break in.

Just keep everything covered as needed, whether you're taking a break for the night and using plastic sheeting or bags to cover, or stuffing passage ways with silicone plugs or rags when doing any grinding, sanding or even just to keep small parts from falling into places you don't want them to.
