I was having an erratic idle problem so I induced ( or is it deduced) that the IAB was at fault. The procedure really was pretty simple. Loosen the top bolt, then push the assembly back towards the firewall and use the Allen wrench to loosen the bottom bolt. Remove the assembly as a unit and then remove the two screws holding the end-part of the IAB together. You will see the little rod all gummed up with carbon or crap. Spray it down good with carb cleaner and reassemble. The job took me a solid half-hour and it's a new car now! No surging or erratic idle.
