Hey everyone, I kind of figured this might be the correct topic to post under since I guess its maintainance... After work yesterday I took my car back to the dealership's detail dept that I work and got to work on the SHO. The exterior of the car hasnt really ever been much to get excited about but after washing the whole car, then clay barring the paint it started to shine up a lot more. Im not sure how many of you here have ever used a clay bar but you just need to use a lot of water to keep the clay lubricated. You can feel the grit in the paint even if it looks clean, although you will feel the clay slide easier once the grit has been removed. This is really good for removing some permanent waterspots, overspray, and tree sap. It took about an hour to clay the entire car and the clay was really dirty after I was done, even though i thought the car was originally very clean. After you clay the car you must rewax the car, and thats pretty straight forward so here are some pictures of the results. I used to work in a body shop so if anyone has any questions let me hear em, I'll try to help ya! ENJOY my purdy car!!!
Seeing your's reminds me of how nice the green can look!
