just posting a positive post for once!! ciny sho actually wants business....ordered from them 2 times. both times i got my stuff from them in less that a week...some of there stuff is a little high priced, but they actually ship you the right product...i.e. colgan bra....ordered it first from sp motorsports, took a month for me to get it, then when i got it, its for a Mitsubishi Eclipse GT...the only plus i have for this guy, is his prices are cheaper.

Please do not reply to this topic saying stupid bs back to me for this post. this is for our feedback on vendors.

This is a vendor feedback forum, and your was polite and told your experience. I think you're safe on this one bud.

PS. I have one of those Colgan bras, and they do a number on the paint. Just FYI.

I have a very negative experience with Cincy SHO. I will elaborate more, if the Moderator of this site OK's me to do so...

What do you think?

This is the dealer and vendor feedback section. Yes, it does seem that it's touch and go as to what's allowed and what's not.

As Rob said, as long as you stick with the facts in a polite, clear, and concise manner, I think you'll be fine.
It's when guys use this section as a launching pad for a personal vendetta and get the shooting smilies and profanity going, that's when it seems to get locked.

Just what Mike said. Stick to the facts, and try to remain civil, and I see no problem with telling your experience....be it positive or negative.

What do you mean? The Colgan bras screw up the paint?? I thought the Colgan bras were supposed to be better than the ones from LeBra because of Colgan's felt backing. What happened with the paint?? I'm really scared now! frown

all bras will mess up the paint, if you dont properly take care of them (which most people dont) example, every time the backing of the bra gets wet, you are suppose to remove the bra and let it dry(it states this in the booklet that comes with any "car" bra). that means every time its rains, every time you wash your car you have to take the bra off..i dont think anybody does that. leaving the bra on allows dirt and other particals to settle underneath it,and rub and wear out the paint, also it might cause the paint to bubble...i am not sure all of the facts, but ANY bra will eventually mess up your paint when not maintained properly. but as i said in the above post, the paint on your car will get messed up without a bra, because of rocks and other stuff hitting while driving. even bugs for that matter.

This is not really the area to discuss the pros and cons of bras, so I'll make this brief. Basically, like jniemiec said, I left the bra on too long before letting it air out, and the paint on my hood bubbled and blistered. Not really a big deal, as I had the stone chips in it. Also, I was already planning on a new hood and paint job next spring.

Oh ok, I understand now. Yeah, I always (or almost always) take off the car bra when it rains or whatever. (It's kinda ironic right now because it rained on Tuesday while I was at the convention with the car bra on and I haven't taken it off yet, haha...although I did drive home 3-4 hours so it dried somewhat.) Just a quick question to you, Rob94...how long did you leave the bra on there before it did damage? (And what brand bra was it?) Thanks.
