Not a bad price, but the center caps are plastic right? So what are you gonna do when the rims are nice and chrome plated and you can't do anything with the center caps but paint......SHOooo:
http://www.4chromewheels.com sells chromed slicers for $595 on an exchange basis.
Have them flash chromed(like on model car parts). It doesn`t look as good,or last too long, but it`s the only option.Bryan C. King:

Not a chance, you`d have to get them polished professionally,or chrome powdercoated.I could polish a set no problem, but it would take time, and about $750.redftsho:
Well is there any kind of polisher i could buy at Advance Auto Parts or Pep Boys? Or could i get them professionally polished?
Thanks
What did you do the center caps with? I've heard you can use a SLO LX center cap because it is metal!SHO2NV:
I had a local place polish my slicers for $200. Didn't turn out to bad:

Hey smartass... I did read all the posts and like it says flash chromeing won't last. I don't feel like haveing to redo it over and over again. I'm the type of person to do things right the first time. I think you have an attitude and untill you get that fixed you should leave!jthomas68:
If you took time to read all of the posts, you would have seen the answer to your question. The plastic parts can be flash chromed.
As for the LX caps being metal, nope. The centers off a Mustang are made of aluminum and can be polished, although they have the Ford logo in the centers. You can also have a round disc machined of aluminum and epoxy it to the stock plastic cap.Good thing i didn`t heed your advise and leave, you would have never gotten your question answered.![]()
You were the one that said you were thinking of leaveing... and with the attitude you have towards so of the members here I thought it sounded like a pretty good idea. Frankly I don't see what difference it makes on what member number I am? I guess because I haven't been on the forum seen the began then I must not know anything! I simplly asked how he did the center caps, and he still has not replyed. I don't believe I asked you how he did HIS center caps. And in respones to your comment of how you wouldn't help me out, I wouldn't ask your help in the first place. In the last couble of posts I've seen you on you've been an ******* ! I don't really care if you leave or not but if you keep treating people like shit not too many people here are gonna like you.jthomas68:
You asked how he did the centercaps, the answer was already there. If you don`t like it,asking again won`t change the answer.Like i said,i can get centercaps that are adaptable and polish them...i just won`t ever do it for you.I`m a moderator, official sponsor, friends with the owners of the site, and helper of many here.Do you honestly think you`re going to get me to leave?![]()
