Hey,

It's been a while since I've posted - thankfully the SHO's have been good lately! :thumb: I'm curious if there is any easy way to check the front and rear engine mounts to see if they are still any good once they have been removed from the car? These mounts came off the '94 when the clutch job was done and the SHONut mounts were put on, and if they are still OK I will either keep them around or maybe find them a new home. Otherwise I don't see the point in wasting the space that they are taking up.

Thanks! :)

Do you have any photos?

Most of the mounts Ive seen/rebuilt that were "failed" have one simple to see and understand failure.

The UPPER portion of the mount (that bolts to the engine) has separated from the rubber. Some much more than others. But I feel that once there is even the slightest bit of separation, the mount has "failed".
