Cruise control just quit working. Cable to TB is connected, fuse is OK.Can't find any vacuum lines to cruise control module. Am I blind or missing something? Pulled out seven wire connector to module. Inside was coated with odorless oily substance. Assuming dielectric grease. Can anyone tell me how to check the cruise control module?
Anything else I can check here like brake pressure switch that cuts off cruise when brakes applied? If so where is it located.
Also, read where horn and cruise switch have same ground. Horn works fine with key on as well as off. Brake light operate properly
Realize VSS may be culprit but have no idea how to approach that except a trip to the shop.
Appreciate any help you can give me
