If you're like me that doesn't read all his mail and throws it in stacks of "to be read later" then I will suggest you check your fuel pump module to see if it is on the recall list rather than finding out like me sitting on the side of the road waiting on the rollback. Being a mechanic I replaced it myself rather than waiting 4 days on the recall unit to be "ordered" instead of using the one they had in stock. I paid the 61 bucks to get back rolling with the proper "5" in the serial.

Does Ford mail you if you are on a recall? Or do you have to be pro active and check every one yourself....

I also changed my own after getting the notice. It took all of 5 minutes to do and I didn't want to "detune" to take the car into the dealer. Ford reimbursed the full retail cost of the module.

How exactly do we check this to see if it is on the recall list.
