Hey I need the cheapest good 02 sensor replacement. I believe it's a bosch part for like $35? I need two, I have an '89 (MTX). I also need to replace my thermostat, should I replace the housing, or just the thermostat? Also does anyone have a diagram of where the thermostat is located? Thanks a lot!

Unless you've got a coupon, 35 bucks each is about right. For the thermostat the housing does not need to be replaced. Just pop the new one in there with the jiggle valve at 12 oclock. To find the thermostat follow the upper coolant hose from the radiator, it's just under the throttle body.

If you cant find one with a Jiggle valve, (i couldnt) drill a small hole on the edge, and put it at 12 o'clock.. :thumb:

Be aware that you must transfer the rubber gasket to the new thermostat. That is the only means of sealing that the SHO's 'stat uses.

I've done this. But have come to the conclusion a properly sealed NON-LEAKING system with a KNOW GOOD radiator cap is of the up most importance.
