just for information:

the rear control arms from the '97-'08 Pontiac Grand Prix almost fit on the gen1/2 SHO's, and the Pontiac has a lot more adjustability

however the bolt holes for the for the Pontiac are a bit bigger, so you will need to make or buy some sort of bushings
I bought a pipe that was close enough then used a lathe to get it the size I needed, then cut it into several 2 inch lengths

Also, the control arms may be too long (i got a set from the junk yard and they worked great on my fathers 91, but were still too long on my 89)

My solution for my 89 was to cut it and buy the tap to extend the thread, it would have worked, but one of the arms is rusted stuck..

I just thought I'd share this since I didn't see any threads mentioning the Pontiac control arms

Thanks for sharing, but this info has been around for a long time. SHOnut Performance offers reducing sleeves so that you can use the stock hardware or you could always have just drilled out the knuckle to 9/16 and used the GTP hardware.
