changing valve cover gaskets?

im getting ready to change the gaskets on the valve covers and im wondering what else i should do while im in there, anything special while doing the changen silicone needed? i just bought the car , and the plugs and wires are new, so any info would be great thanks dan

You will need some black RTV and I would replace the plug well seals. If you have the extra money then I would even go for the plugs and wires. ****, I would throw in the valve adjusting as well if it were me.

When i did mine i took the intake off to it made it easyer, also get the felpro kit its like 80 and has the plug seals or else you have to play the $23 EACH from Ford eek!
