Changing timing belt tensioner without removing crank pulley?

Is there any way to change the timing belt tensioner without having to remove the crank pulley? I swear to all that is holy these cars are stupidly complicated and convoluted.

Not w/ timing belt covers and guide (in front of cranhshaft sproket) in place prior to removal.
