Changing battery re tune?

This is probably a dumb question but if I change the battery in the car is it going to need to be re tuned.?

The car will need to potentially relearn trims, shifting, and a few other things though so take it easy for a few days so everything learns properly.

make sure the battery monitoring system is reset to learn the new battery parameters, otherwise it may not charge correctly.

The dealer or a shop with IDS software has to do it. Not a DIY thing, as it is not part of the KAM reset.
