So, all of my parts showed up except the tuner itself that is on backorder. Is it safe to put the plugs and thermostat in now and just wait on the map sensor until the tuner arrives? Lots of experience with tuning mopars but not on this platform. Thanks

I would not change the thermostat without the tune installed. The plugs would probably be fine to do, but I would wait and do everything at the same time.

I agree I would wait. I assume you have plugs that are colder and a smaller gap for the increased boost/timing you are expecting to see with the tune. Couple that with a cooler thermostat and you may run into fouling/burn issues. Those parts were not designed for the car in it's current state. The computer may get finicky also looking for certain warm up times and not seeing them due to the thermostat opening sooner. The fans for sure won't be matched to the thermostat. I know it is hard to wait to put new toys in, but it is always better to do it when it is needed/compensated for.

Handheld should arrive tomorrow, then make sure you get the tune request form in ASAP, it'll take Luis a few days to get it created. Like others said, the parts really are to accommodate the tune, and running colder without the tune can cause the brand new plugs to foul out pretty quick.
