Dumb question but did you disconnect your battery?

If not you may need to in order for the computer to re-set it self.

I am not 100% sure this but it makes sense to me.

That and make sure to bolt it in place; especially at the bottom. The bottom 2 holes are the grounds for the module. They MUST have a good ground path through the inake manifold end tank to the bracket in the corner, to the bolt on the back of the rear tank, to the grounding strap...to the car body...and back to the bolt next to the battery with that heavier guage ground...to the battery...I think...

After DIS replacement you should be putting a thermal displacement compound on the back of the DIS. When I replaced mine I went to a computer store and found what I needed there. Works just fine.

thermal displacment compound as in heat disipation compound like the stuff you put on the back of a heatsink? yeah was gonna say bolt it down, i think a loose bolt on the dis modual has been the culprit of many WTF situations lol.

Just ask for heat sink compound #276-1372 at Radio Shack. No need to spend a penny more. :thumb::thumb: But if you just HAVE to spend more, RS also carries Arctic silver which does the same thing and costs double or triple.
