Well it looks like the plastic guide on my 3.2 camshaft chain tensioners are worn down almost to the metal. I called my local Ford dealer and Ford has declared the part obsolete.

The part number is E0DZ6K6K297B (RS) & ...7C (LS).

Anybody know where I can get it?

It should be cheaper than buying the entire chain tensioner assembly which will run about $150.00 for both sides.

Check it out.

Looks like I have to remove the camshafts to get the tensioner out. I may go ahead and swap in the 3.0 intake cams.

You have too many numbers in there. I just bought them last week from the dealer & the availability was fine, and the number is wrong anyway (E0 indicated 1980, not E9's 1989 code)

Use E9DZ-6K261-A & -B for Rear & Front tensioners. One's about $50 & one's over $100 list.

Josh at SHO Nut & Torrie at FPN will be able to get these for less than the dealer, unless you get some kind of discount.

Well my idea was just to replace the plastic part, not the entire tensioner.
