Ceramic Pads?

Never heard of the brand. I would go with Akebono (tirerack sells them) ceramic pads if you want ceramics. They work well.

Any ceramic pad should be fine for DD, though I've had my best luck with Wagner Thermo-quiet PD series ceramics. Just my opinion though.

I never really thought about ceramics before, just saw these while checking out ebay and thought I'd ask about them. I searched a little for ceramic pads before posting, but didn't come up with much of anything. Can someone tell me the positives and negatives of ceramic pads? I've read great reviews about Porsche's ceramic brakes in C&D and R&T, but never really understood what was so special about ceramics. I guess it's all in the thermodynamics of the different materials?
