This is on a 16 SHO. After changing the front map lights to LED I have some questions about the center dome/map lights. I did a search and don't know if I need to add a resistor or not for the LED's to work. Also it looks like the center outside map lights are the same bulb as the front map lights correct? What type bulb is the center dome light? Thanks Jeff

You will need a 470 ohm resistor with the center led for the whole assembly to work correctly. Just did the interior LED'S a couple weeks ago in my '15.

Ok. Weird cause some say they changed to LED's without needing a resistor

Yea I've heard the same. Try it without the resistor...if the two other lights on the assembly won't turn off then you'll need the resistor.

Usually if you change out a whole bunch of the interior LEDs, you end up putting on a resistor in at least one spot because lights won't go out or a dim properly etc. (This is based on a guy who upgraded his 2013.) You will know better once the replacements are done whether this is the case for YOUR ride. The resistors can be had from EBay or Radio Shack, not difficult to find quality stuff.

Ok I'll get the same LED's I put in the front map lights and see what happens. If I need the resistor I'll put it in. Thanks

I replaced all the interior lamps with led and I didn't have to use the resistor. I got some from work just incase but didn't end up needing it. Lights dim perfectly. '13 car
