CE light

Why does my CE light come on only when I drive on the highway? my cars usually starts to run like crap and eats gas quicker. but it never comes on when driving normally around town

Pull the codes and find out why the light is illuminating. My guess is the O2 sensors.

By showing you the CE light, your car is trying to tell you what is wrong. Listen to it. Read the codes. Make a 4" piece of wire with a 1/4" spade lugs on each end. Then go to the SHOtimes links I have posted so many times. With the jumper wire in hand, it takes less than 2 minutes to check the codes.

A failed O2 sensor sounds like the most likey culprit, but let the codes confirm the problem and tell you if it the front (left) or rear (right) bank sensor.
