My 90 came with the jbl and cd player package, and the spinner motor took a dump on me. I took it to a factory radio repair shop (WEST SIDE RADIO) and they specialize in ford products. Lucky me. Unfortunatly they can't fix the old style cd players, so i was "honored" enough to by a $300 "updated" player. It has the ugly teal lcd display and just makes my interior look like crap  when the rest of my lights are the cool green thumb color. Is there any way shape or form to chang the lcds to green. I know that the EATC's can be changed or are made with either green or teal, do i need to buy a new display for it? Lemme' hear some feed back please!

THANKS

The button illumination is done with rubber covers over light bulbs and the displays (it's a vacuum florescent display) color is done with the lense over the display its self. I don't recall ever seeing one of the newer slave CD players with a green display so you are going to have to change it yourself. There might be enough screen material on the old CD player to make a new green lense and I think there are enough green bulb covers to cover all the lights. PM me or e-mail me if you need more details on this.
