Not quite sure how well that would work on a boosted SHO.
It has been my experience that you should never block either port; crankcase or valve cover. At one time I blocked the crankcase port (with check valve) and put a breather on the valve cover. Under boost, it would shoot oil out the valve cover breather.
Both the ports have to be evacuated during WOT in my experience.

I agree with Lupo.

I don't see how it would ever build vacuum on our setup. I've run something similar and ended up with a failed check valve and blown rear main seal. Terry ended up with about the same.
