i have been reading up on catch cans for a hour or so now and i have persuaded myself to get one but i read that on the v6 you can put a filter on the valve cover end and plug the tb end. but someone mentioned crank pressure or something another but it was on a v8. can somebody tell me what the best route to take is? i have been looking at the universal ebay catch can kits.

The best way to keep them clean that Ive found is to port them smooth.
It removes the casting marks that allow the buildup to take hold.
Like I said thou a catch can won't hurt and Im sure it will catch some of the oil and vapors.

I installed one when I did my 3.2 swap and cleaned the entire engine. I didn't want to have to clean the intake, or anything else, ever again. I bought one from Saikou Michi, and have been happy with it. My oil stays very clean and every time I change it, there is a little bit of foamy oil and a bit more water in there. I definitely prefer having the water in the catch can instead of the oil or intake tract.

Yeah, but only some of them.
