I own a 2013 SHO and want to install a Cat Back Exhaust. I seen three exhaust systems for the SHO. Corsa, Magna Flow MAG-15769 and Stainless Work SW-TA10ECOCB. Of three I mention, which one has a better sound?

Best thing is to go on YouTube and listen to them yourself. Everyone will have a different opinion and what matters is what you like.
I can tell you I love the Corsa but have no idea how the other two sound like.

I made the mistake and purchased MRT. The drone was unbearable. I had custom Helmholtz resonators installed to handle the drone. Cost $250 at Meineke and problem solved. Honestly the stock exhaust is best left on car.

Does the exhaust system sound better with upgrade downpipes & stock exhaust system vs with stock downpipes & upgrade cat back exhaust system vs with upgrade downpipes & cat back exhaust system?

That's the setup I copied from. I watched his YouTube video and found his pictures on here. I showed the guys at Meineke they copied the design, it took care of 90% of the drone. Has a rumble to it now but a lot quieter in the cab. I've thanked harp96sho a couple times now for saving my ears.

Well to me the car sounds better with true dual straight pipes. My current setup. No x pipes. Its not even loud, turbos are mufflers.
Well it loud if you stomp it but cruise and idle is quiet. Mufflers cause drone.
No drone at all with true dual, catless mufflerless

I like more the growly deep sound than the raspy one, and don't like the pops.
As said, to each their own and only YOU will know what YOU'll like best on your car.

Yea ill do one eventually. I dont have that tune in right now. I have ajp e30 in now, sounds like a normal straight pipe sho.
@aaron240 is the only member that has heard it in person, he also rode in it. With all the bang bang pops

Anybody have experience with the magnaflow system? Performance based info would be great, but any feedback appreciated. I've had good experience with them in fords in the past but those were all na v8 engines... so it makes me wonder how they did with this platform. The one video I saw sounded decent but I wonder does it match the flow of others?

I don't have experience with MF on a SHO but I had a Magnaflow exhaust on my 3.0L Mazda 6 and it sounded soooo gooood. I've been researching this too and from what I've read others like the MF exhaust because it ISN'T loud, raspy, or harsh. That's what I want.

The only thing that killed me aobut MF is that they make their systems out of 409 stainless which rusts. Only the tips are 304 and don't rust. It's not RUST like a mild steel exhaust, but it's a mild surface rust that makes it look not great. Especially the mufflers. Now that I know that, i'm painting my mufflers satin black when I get a new system.

I also just read that it can be improved with an additional x-pipe muffler but i need to research that more.

Just my $0.02.

Thanks,
Ben
