well we will probably end up going to this event instead of the convention, because of work conflicts for both of us (we work at the same job). so we are going to get the tuning done on our green turbo sho and hopefully sign up for this (last minute of course). how late is too late?

I believe you can register right up until the day of. Try emailing the people at Carlisle (http://www.carsatcarlisle.com).

I do know they increase the price from 35 to 45 when it gets close to the actual event...

Not sure how many are needed for the free tent, but terri already ordered it. SO, if we have enough people it is free, if not, everyone chips in while we are there to pay for it.

As for hotel, the bulk of us (at least us New England folk) are staying at the Hotel Kirk posted up. Like the convention, half the fun is sitting in the hotel parking lot all night and lighting stuff on fire :laugh_ti:

Nope, us Wisconsin folk are stayin' there too. We cannot miss any parking lot activities or life would not be the same!! Besides, it's about the only time I get to wear my helmet!

As it stands right now, I'll probably drive down in the F350 for Friday and Saturday. I need to be at Willow Grove Joint Reserve Base Sunday morning for the start of my 2 week AT. I'll need to see if the finances allow for a 2 night hotel stay.
