Carbtech sizes vs. Model years

Looking at the Carbtech site I noticed that the Gen III is broken into 3 different sizes for the front pads 1994-1996, 1997, and 1998+.

Any thoughts or reasons? Is there that much difference in the front Set up?

I saw the same thing, but could not find carbo fronts for my '99. (Ford Police pads will be OK, huh?)
Is the difference that big, or is it something to do with the SARC system I don't have?

There's no difference in the pads for the Gen III SHO's... at least as far as size goes. FWIW, the police pads are not the correct size either wink
