its all plugged in i am now wondering if it failed or not? i'll run codes again. i'm beginning to think the cps got junk on it so i gotta pop everything off and see.

ok apparently the timing belt tensioner wasnt tightened enough the belt got ground half way down. and the vayne the cps reads off of was warped i guess the screws came off. so i need a new timing belt, the vayne and a new cps since the one i have is damaged.:banghd: looks like im hitching a ride to work again:rant:

That's f'in hilarious.... :laugh_ti: How do you damage a cam sprocket vane that badly?

Right after I sliced my hand badly on a cam sprocket, my best friend tried to pry my cam sprocket off. The woodruff key was wedging it real good and he bent the crap out of the vanes.

My father the marine engineer tried to peen it back to shape, but I opted for a replacement. It cost me about $95 from somewhere online over 6 years ago. I'm sure you could get it cheaper at a yard. I would if it happened again.

Make sure you respect those cam sprockets. They are some mean sob's on flesh.
