Hello everyone, I'm writing today because my 93 is not starting. I drove it earlier today, but upon trying to start it tonight, nothing happened. I heard the fuel pump turn on, but it didn't start. Didn't even crank. It's parked in a grocery store parking lot, which is kind of inconvenient. If anyone has any idea what could be causing it to not start, please let me know, or if there is another thread that has already addressed this problem. Thank you!

Video of me trying to start it:

Use a multimeter and check the voltage at the battery and starter (need someone to assist you) when someone turns the key. Your starter solenoid could be bad, you can try and use an insulated screwdriver to see if the solenoid engages.

from your symptoms, the most likely culprit is the starter or starter solenoid.

as noted above, you can try to use a screwdriver to short across the solenoid terminals to see if that allows it to start.

Check neutral safety switch also, try moving the trans stalk around while trying to start it....

Hello, thank you all for your responses, they were very helpful. However, due to my lack of knowledge about automatic transmissions (My daily is a 2001 F-150 with a stick shift), I did not know you had to be in park to start the car. It was halfway between park and reverse. A silly mistake, but one that will not happen again.
