Nope!pj'l_master said:okay so there is NO way to replace the factory CD player with an aftermarket one?
ArkanSHO said:I moved mine to under the passenger seat then replaced it with a 10 disc Kenwood. Works pretty good and I can reach it while driving. Keep a spare magazine loaded and ready. By the way, the adaptor unit from Crutchfield to make it work with the Ford controls has enough cable to relocate teh changer to just about anywhere in the car you would want.
I ordered a Kenwood 10 disc changer only that had an optional adaptor for the Taurus/Sable Mach system. Plugged right in and works great. Was a $79 adder but was completely painless.Porkchop said:Did you get a whole new cd changer w/ wired controls or did you get one and wired it into the stock setup?
I am curious because I want to get a MP3 cd changer, but so far nothing works with the mach system...
