my car will not idle and stalls frequently. i ran the codes and they were 1. low speed fuel pump circuit open (battery to ECA) and 2. Fuel pump secondary circuit failure. 3. EGR circuit failure. Can anyone please interpret these for me? i just replaced the battery and alternator. Any help would be appreciated.

I might be a little off, but you should try cleaning you IAB valve, that might be part of your problem since its associated with bad idling when dirty. Im sure youll get better suggestions from everyone else though. good luck!

will the iab valve have anything to do with when i am parked and switch into drive or reverse or go through the gears to make my rpms dive below 500 then jump back up? my car just started doing this..it hasnt stalled but it will go below 500 oil light comes on goes off then rpms jump back to normal

greensho, you may want to clean the IAB valve anyway, but im going to guess its not your problem. Although someone hear who knows more than me will hopefully chime in. good luck man, let us know what happens.

You can start by changing the fuel filter if that hasnt been changed in a while. You may want to check your fuel pressure as well. Does your fuel pump make any noises when you turn the key on without starting the engine?

A dirty IAB valve will definitly effect your idle as well as clogged throttle body ports. Your throttle body can be cleaned and its not much more difficult than cleaning your IAB.

Try these first before you go spending money on parts that arent the problem.

Good luck...
