We'll it looks like my 2013 SHO PP will be making a trip to the dealer shop this week or next. I am getting massive smoke screen behind me when I drive it appears to be an oil type smoke and smell. What is weird it's not constant seems to come and go. I found that it seems to happen more if the car sits idol for a while then is driven.
I have read some people that had this issue and points to turbo seals may be bad. I hope this is covered under the 69K warranty with ford. My car has 51K on it now.

Wonder if they would install down pipes for me at same time if I buy a set of aftermarket ones. I am sure that won't happen but guess I can ask maybe.
I will keep you all posted when I know what the deal is with this. I just hope they don't have any 2015 SHO on the lot I may just tell them to swap cars and keep my 13 I pay the difference for a new one lol. Guess I better bring the title with my 13 just in case.

Have you noticed if this only happens when the weather is cooler and the car has been sitting? Is it typically just after the first acceleration or for several starts when the car is cold?

Any chance it could just be condensation in the exhaust now that the weather is turning cooler? The dealer is likely to quiz you about this as well.

Not at all with the cooler temps outside it actually happened most of the times after driving for a long time then stopping and letting the car idle then driving away. Actually now that I really think I don't ever recall it happening when I first start it up after sitting overnight and leaving for work in the morning.

I have to say it is a massive amount of smoke coming from it when this happens. Cars behind me actually slow down or pull over to wait for me to be gone from their area.

From the info provided, it does look like turbo seals or oil feed line gaskets. Your SHO may also need the PCV system/valve cover modification Ford outlined recently (can't find the actual document just yet tho). Could ask the dealer about that also.

Unless I just decide to trade her in for a 2015 SHO if they have any in stock lol.
