Well,
Having been down that road after my last overseas tour, here are a few things to keep in mind...
1. Get the battery charged.
2. If you ran the car dry of gas, fill it with premium or if you put gas stablizer in, top off the tank if you can.
3. Check tire pressure, inflate as required.
4. Check your brakes, ensure they are working properly, including your park brake.
5. Check all your lights, including high/low beams, turn signals and brake lights.
6. If you put a teaspoon of oil in each cylinder before you put the car in storage, realize that on initial start up you will have some burning oil, this should disapate...if it doesn't you might have a problem.
7. Lubricate all your hinges and locks.
8. Change the oil, filter and **** the car.
9. Check coolant level and ensure it is at least -40C
10. DO NOT DRIVE THE CAR LIKE AN IDIOT!! It will be like breaking in a new car...take it easy for the first few days.
That is pretty much it...oh and just keep your eyes and ears open...these cars seem to not like to sit for a long period of time. If anything starts sounding odd, or not working, get it checked.
