Finished putting some gas in the car.... fired it up.... was messing with the phone for a second... and the cd player cut out, lights blinked, car missed a beat, and it acted like I just started it up again.....

So uhhh.... WTF was that? I'm kind of at a loss for this one..... CCRM? ECU? Something's getting ready to take a dump isn't it? lol

My first guess as well... ignition switch.
Usually the key switch, seldom the actual electrical switch.

Well, I always have a good 20 keys or so due to work on there... always heard that wasn't the best for it.... but as far as the electrical thing.... I have noticed on everyone Ive taken out there are always a few connections that look corroded, and then a little discolored and or melted a little.

The majority of the ones I've seen like that were on older F-150's, and they were always a 12 ga set of yellow wires, that feed the starter... but the way that truck ate starters, that sort of made sence to me... I'll crack the column here today and see if anything looks weird... I think there maybe something loose in there... as occasionally.. maybe 1 time out of 30, I'll get my airbag light, saying it can't see the bag.... I know its an entire connector to itself, but it makes me think it may share a ground with something else... and that would be hiding my issue here..
