Is anyone aware of a Contour SVT for sale locally?
Looking for something with 50K or less miles. I don't need another builder.

If you can find an SVT Contour with a bad motor, I have a 3.0 Duratec that is brand new and complete, looking for a home.

Are you coming over on the 2nd, Brian? Be a good time to start the teardown on that 3.0.

I'm going to try. I have to help Sisyphus get that rock to the top .. AGAIN!, and make sure whatizname gets the stable clean first. But that's just in a days work. I'll at least make sure Number Two Son corners the market on Berryman's.

On a serious note; 00 bearings, or do you preach plastigage and oversize bearings?

What Chris said. Standard is fine. We'll still plastigage them to see what oil gap we end up with, but we can't use anything oversize unless we turn the crank down.

F22-Raptor SHO will be over early to start his bearings.

AZ SHO OFF will be finishing up his 95 MTX.

I will be directing and inspecting.

Mike,

I'll SHOw you how to do everything and turn the wrenches if you want, but you'll learn mo' better if you feel the "click".

Eric, What holes? I thought the holes were always there just covered for an MTX mount.

Maybe we can get Jim Ellis over to be our photographer so we don't get oil all over my digital camera. "paging Mr. Ellis, is there a Mr. Ellis in the house?"

Well, I looked all over for a hole and all I found was sheet metal, so I think I need to cut a hole. ;)

I'm hoping you're right and I just need to look closer. In any case, I'll try to figure it out Saturday.

Whoo!! He is here, (actually in Detroit) Reporting as ordered sir! :salute: Sorry for being so absent. Seems I have not been reviewing the Forum as I should. I'll get old Bob washed up and see you all some time Saturday morning. I think I need to take the "Significant Other" to breakfast first then I will be up with the camera.
