Back in Michigan ... again.
Yeah, could be one of a hundred different problems... fuel pump, CPS, IRCM just to name a few.

Have you tried pulling codes yet? That's always the first step with these cars, and even if you don't have a CE light, you probably have something stored in memory that points in the right direction.

First suspect is water pump leaking onto the CPS. Time for a front 60K service.

Here is a question same thing is happened to me

Does the car only die when its hot outside thats one thing??

Does your car run hotter then normal like around the N-O area around when it dies??

And When the car dies does it try to stay running around 500 rpm and then just die???

If you answer yes to all these questions and have no codes.

Fuel Pump is overheating. Same thing happened to me on the above and replaced it everything is good now

Hope that helps

:thankyou:Thanks for the advice. will let you know what i find. it doesnt run at all when it dies. its dead 10-30 min. before it starts and runs fine again.(something is overheating). I have a spare motor with all the sensors on it.

i suspect another problem other than a cps. i have not tore into anything. had to replace the starter from overuse. took a while to start it up. started and ran fine for about 20min. hit the gas a little and it died. wont start anymore. while it was running i heard a loud buzzing noise coming from the fuel tank. sounded like a small bee buzzsing loudly. i am suspecting the fuel pump is the culpret to my post weak and prob overheating. what do you guys think? like i said a few posts ago it seems fuel related. if the cps was faulty would it not just go out, instead of being able to start the car mutiple times for months and then it gets worse and worse?:sun:

Well for me thats the same thing that was going on with me i would hit the gas and the car would die. And the noise from the fuel pump would make sense. And the fact it is getting worse would make sense as well
