...be replaced without taking the crank pulley off?

I just got the new sensor today and am wondering wether to do this myself or take it to the shop.

No, you need to take the crank pulley off. If you've already taken the time to take everything else off then taking the pulley off isn't much harder. You can always rent a puller from Autozone if you don't have one. I'm not sure if you've checked what's involved in replacing the CPS but if you haven't then go to www.shotimes.com. You'll probably want to replace your waterpump and timing belt as well if you're taking everything off to replace the CPS.

oh ok.

I already did the waterpump which has caused the malfunction of the CPS sensor.

Wrenching and me never seem to get along very well.

You might get lucky too.Mine took about 30 minutes with 2 people,a puller,a d a crowbar to get off. When i pulled Blast7`s off,it slid off so easy that i think i could have done it without the puller!
