Can anyone identify this clutch?

I removed the driveline from the Shogun last week and pulled this clutch out. Can anyone possibly identify what brand/model it is, and/or the flywheel? The pressure plate is a cast steel, not a stamped steel unit like on most cars.

The clutch pedal pressure in this car is a bit abusive. it could be a bad match up between the master and slave cylinder bore diameters(this car is hydraulic converted), but if I can identify this clutch I may be able to factor in the PP spring pressure to determine what I change. The car is supercharged with what appears to be an old V2 Sho Shop kit from it's former owner many years ago. I am retaining the SC setup for what it's worth with many changes to be made, but don't necessarily want nor need an overbearingly heavy clutch.

I suspect that it's one of the old SHO Shop clutches. One was the HiRevs Jr. clutch that had 120 thou reinforcing straps with HD rivets vs. the stock 80 thou with a 2100 lb. pressure plate (stock 1400 lb.). The other was the HiRevs Race clutch with a dual diaphragm (two sets of fingers, one on top of the other) with a 3500 lb plate. Neither are still available.

The flywheel looks like the SHO Shop steel billet flywheel. 17 lb. vs. the stock 21 lb.

Your best bet for a clutch / flywheel replacement is www.shosource.com. They sell the same steel billet flywheel, although they can be resurfaced around 3 times. Each resurface takes around 12 thou off. Minimum thickness is 1.141".

They also sell a variety of clutch kits, some of which are compatible with boosted applications.

the FW looked rough but only took about 7 thou to clean up on my blanchard. I will mic the OAT and see if it is a go. I will dig the pp out of the shelves later and compare it to the specs you listed. See if it matches up to one you mentioned and go from there.

Think its a Centerforce, IIRC they painted their pressure plates red. Looks like the fingers are at their wear limit, starting to chip. SHOnut and SHOsource have a special bearing that reduces that kind of wear.

AKA Ceramic Throw Out Bearing. Much more gentle on the clutch fingers.

Don't know about all, but the centerforce I had for the SHO and one for my truck and others I've seen are bright orange, not red and have a centerforce stamping or tag on them and I had a SHOShop hi revs jr that was blue, but no idea if all were.

BaySho Performance nailed it....HiRevs Race clutch. Pressure plate has stacked diaphram springs. That would also explain the heavy clutch pedal.

Going in the dumpster in favor of something a bit more docile.
