This isnt really important at all, but I've always wondered what this part is
I cant seem to post a pic, but I'm talking about the metal bar that is in-between the intake manifold and the alternator. It has a 1'' inch eye hole in the middle of the farthest extended point of the bar. I know it's on every SHO engine from the Gen I and II. I can't figure out why it's there, could it have been from shipping, and ford never removed it, or is it part of something more sinister....?
