Cams Welded!

Just thought I would let everyone know that I got my cams welded by Eric in Lombard, Il Saturday. He is one heck of a guy and really knows his SHOs. He started at 8am and was done by 2:30pm. He gave us a ride to and from the mall. He answered all my questions and was just a great guy all around. I would highly recommend getting them welded by Eric. He welded the cams, changed the plugs, changed the oil and filter, cleaned the intake and butterflies, took pictures of the process, and gave a written warranty. All for $450 TOTAL! Plus you can stand and watch him throughout the whole process if you want too.

I forgot to mention that I learned I had a lower mileage, and newer engine than the 100,000 my odometer shows. Most likely was another cam failure. Thanks Eric!

Anyone know where the nearest place is where I could get my cams welded? Sounds like a really good deal with all that was done for only 450 bucks!!!
My location by the way, is Auburn Al.

I got my cams welded by Eric also, did a fantastic job and I did stand there and watch the whole time. He said it was the cleanest motor internals he had seen. Got the welds done at 32k, up to 40k and still no problems! Best feeling in the world knowing them baby's are welded down. I HIGHLY recommend Eric to anyone!
