Cam welding near MA

I have located a clean '98 with 88k miles but the cams have not been welded. Is there anyone in/near MA that would be able to do this? I would love to get this car but I am terrified of the cams not being welded and am worried it would be risky to even drive without that being done at 88k miles and being 25 years old.

Go back through the archives or reach out to v8 sho owners on the google group. See if you can find Kirk Doucette's email. He is in MA and used to do local and travel and do cam welds all around in batches when this was first being addressed.

He is out of the car repair game and was transporting vehicles years ago last I remember. He transported a SHO from Indiana to Va for me. See if he is interested in doing one. If not maybe he can recommend someone local(ish). Long shot, but geographically close. If I had to drive it somewhere to get the welds done I would do it depending on the purchase price. There are other places to get it done but you may have to travel.

Kirk's shop was in Spencer. I'm not sure he still has the shop but for the right price he'd probably do it if you brought it to him.
