Does anyone have the rotunda cam seal expander and installer tool in Florida? I will gladly pay to rent this tool (or buy if someone doesn't want it).

I really don't want to shell out 300+ for an entire set on ebay. I finally got around to tearing into my SHO again, and the oil leak is from my rear exhaust cam seal...I replaced them last december, drove the car about 1000 miles and got some random misfire that shotime helped me solve..then the massive oil leak sprang. Wonderful federal-mogul cam seals.

Well now I have motorcraft cam seals and I want to make sure I do the job 100% right this time.

The tool is not necessary if you are careful. **** that bitch up and slide it on slowly. You can use a small pick or screwdriver or something to help convince the seal to fit over the cam properly.

Is that one of the metal seals? Stab a hole in it so you can stick something in it to pull it out.

From my personal, non-professional first hand experience - I'd say they're crap.

and after all of the reading i've done on here, other people think they're crap as well.
