HOW DO YOU REMOVE THE EBRAKE CABLE THAT THREADS THROUGH THE CALIPER EYELET?

Mine are frozen after 140+ miles, NY roads! I don't want to cut the cable...

Or...

Remove the E clip from the head of the cable, then find a large flathead screwdriver and a 3 lb. heavy hammer.

Start swinging.

Thanks folks, for the quick responses. I was able to free it up - both sides. I guess it was an inital paranoia.

(but when you cut the cable, doesn't it mean you loose the ebrake?)

My current problem lies with the new (re-man) calipers, my DVR side ebrake engages, but does not dis-engage. The spring coil is on correctly and the cable is not frozen.
