I just ordered a CAI for my 2013 SHO. I ended up going with the K&N kit has anyone had anything good or bad to say about this kit please. I did a search on here and think the only thing I read was it will make the turbo sound louder nit sure how much louder or anything at all.

Hopefully I don't hear anything bad and have to return this kit after some post on this.

Thanks again in advance for any advice or info on this topic.

Thank You

Most CAIs on the market for the Gen 4 SHOs have proven to be for looks & sound only. The K&N is a bit louder than the Airaid, but nobody's been irritated by it yet. You could convert the blowoff valves to vent-to-atmosphere (VTA) and you will hear the "psssshhh" sound when you lift off the throttle. To hear turbos spool, you'd have to likely get a catback upgade, and would not be loud inside the car even then.

Sounds like I will be doing some exhaust shopping now or this weekend. I will plan to order one ASAP then and keep you posted on what I end up with for the exhaust.

The factory setup is already excellent. The scoop behind the grill will draw in more cool air than any underhood 'CAI'.

Remove the front BOV hose if you want a little pssht sound and the back one if you want it even louder.

I took my Typhoon out because I did not like the rasp I heard through the metal tube when the turbos spooled (with stock exhaust) and there is no real performance benefit. It does look pretty cool though. I have both BOVs VTA'd and like them that way.
