I know, been done. Did some searches. I just need some clarification.

I understand that for a turbo setup, in general, the stock cam is the best setup because there is no overlap.

However, I am also understanding that a cam for a supercharger is beneficial provided it has high lift, long duration, but no overlap. Can anyone confirm this?

With this in mind, are any of the regrinds offered beneficial to a boosted car? I currently have the money for a S/C kit, but my car is not ready for one. Thus, as I am doing my 60K, I'd like to add some go-fast parts to make a nasty N/A setup, but I would also like most of the parts to be beneficial to a S/C setup (or Turbo) in the future.

I am currently keeping the stock bottom end and adding an EH intake, BBBs, an MAF, and perhaps some UDPs. Hi-Flow catted Y-pipe is hopefully on the way as well.

And can anyone reccommend Midwest over ShoNut, or vice-versa? Are there any other options?

If you P&P'd you heads with your new runners, your increased headflow would provide a greater benefit with more aggresive cams even with boost on tap.

SS Stage II or the +20's would be nice under boost.

Under S/C boost, not turbo boost...

But from my research, all the current regrinds have overlap. I know overlap is bad for turbos, but I also thought it was not very beneficial to S/C cars as well...

Can anyone confirm this?

Thanks
