Yeah makes me cringe too. I have been finding air bubbles in the oil. Doesnt look to be any coolent in the oil or oil in the coolent, and the oil level remains about the same. Is there anything that can cause this besides a head gasket? The only code im pulling is the good ol 332. The pores are unclogged and i tested the egr valve w/ the vacuum test. I see exhaust leaking from the tube so im looking to replace/fix it. Also there is faint black smoke coming out of the mufflers when i rev it. Any ideas?
thanks,
-David

Where on the dipstick is the oil level? Check the oil level when the car is on a flat surface and the engine has been shut off for at least 10 minutes. Too much oil in the crankcase could cause this problem from crankshaft windage, but that would take a lot of oil.
