I was curious if anyone can offer any suggestions for fixing the rusty Y-pipe to manifold bolts when they break. I have been tracing an exhaust problem in the '91 and all four bolts broke on me (which I somewhat expected). Is it possible to replace them yourself, or what would a shop charge to change them out?
I think I found the problem (a rattling cat... yikes!) so I wanted to pull the Y off to check if it was the problem.
Also, the y to catback was repaired at some point and there are two nuts on the end of the bolt that I simply cannot get to move. Any suggestions on removing the spring bolts when there are two nuts on the end? The y-pipe is almost off...
