half-way there, I think.
Where exactly is it broken at? It is very difficult to repair the aluminum casting the tranny is made out of. I have repaired one tranny case on a rear drive Ford before, but it was only the bell housing that was broken.

Well he probally blew his differental pin. There is not much hope of fixing the case if thats is the problem. He will have to find a new tranny because the internals are pry messed up due to the diff breaking off..I have the same problem! How big is the hole?

The holes can be different sizes!Best bet is to get a picture, you just have to look around for a used tranny!I looked around for a while for a used one. There is one in the classaifed section for 425$ the guy selling is a real good guy..the link to it is http://www.shoforum.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=6;t=001594

I just picked me one up about a week ago.Now I have to get it put in which is going to be a pain in the a$$...

Well, you can get a "used" tranny from prices of $50 on up. Depends where you buy it. I know someone on this board who found one in a junk yard and bought it for very cheap.

You talkin bout me!! You must be talkin bout me.. Not only did I find it in the junk yard and not only did I pay $68 for it. It was just laying in the middle of one of the aisles between an ****** and a Tempo. All I had to do was pick it up and pay for it. Got love that thumb
