Well for the seccond time I have a broken front MM bolt. I was driving home the other day and I knew right away what it was as soon as I started it and let the clutch out in gear... right front ****, push in clutch... "WHAM" The front lower of the two bolts and the pressed in nut are gone. And BTW when I rebuilt the mount I tacked on the bolts to the mount so they wouldn't disappear.

The only thing that I can see casusing this issue is ther clutch chatter. Normally its not too bad, but sometimes in reverse it can jounce tha tmotor around pretty good.

Any thoughts on why this is happening and what can be done to prevent it would be appreciated.

I think he just tacked the nuts to keep them from disappearing from the mount.

Are your front and rear mounts both new?

Correct. I mis-spoke it was only the nuts that were tacked.

Yes, they are SHONut mounts that have been further reinforced. As is the tranny mount.

Ok, tacking the nuts is fine. It sucks that happened. The only thing I can suggest is using locktite next time.

Does anyone know what size those bolts are? I replaced my front mount a few weeks ago, and the bolt has since fallen out and disappeared.

Isn't that the bolt for the dampener? I found the bolt that I needed, the one that goes through the block, so it is all good. Thanks though!
