Broken engine mount

Just broke the front engine mount and the motor is pretty loose. Just temporarily where is the best place to chain the motor down?:thankyou:

I would not chain it with a dead mount. I would replace it with a reinforced mount and then you wont have to worry about it again: SHO Source

I'm not a rocket scientist, but I would look at putting a chain on the front lifting hook and wrap the other end around the subframe.

But in reality, you can fix your mount unless it's "bucket" is rusted beyond use. Just bolt it together and use extra long bolts so you can add rear stabilizer bar bushings under the nut on top. Done right, this is all you'll ever need.
