We have plenty of good used bolts (they clean up like new). PM me if you are interested.

I have thought about building new bolts (change the design slightly, change the allen head to something better), If there is a serious interest, speak up and we can start another discussion thread and lay out what people want for a different design.

Sam told me about this- looks like I'm in too. I might've missed it but any idea on a target date for getting these going?

well it's just a feeler thread for now so I wouldn't hold my breath. Perhaps a couple of months? It does take a while to get specifications and tooling ramped up.

Yeah...I need new plug well seals so Sam wants me to wait on these...I've needed new plug well seals for...a while so...was just curious! I'm glad it looks like there's enough interest to hopefully get it off the ground though.

We are moving on this so we should ahve them soon enough. Mike will have some dates later on.

Since this is a new product for us, estimated delivery is a total WAG, but I am thinking 4-8 weeks. I already took measurements and we already have a manufacturer. The next step is to have the molds built so we can test some prototypes.

I have been working on this one for a while, I just did not want to get any hopes up until I had a product that would work.

This is one of the best new products I've seen yet. For a few years now, I've been wondering what I'll do when these things disintegrate. Looking forward to getting a set... or two.

Major props!

In for a set. Mike/Matt, are you going to need prepayment, or is this something that will be added to the website that's available for purchase anytime? (after production starts of course)

I would be interested in New bolts, because few time when I changed valve cover gaskets on few previous SHOs that i had, i had few small problems with using allen key on slightly rusty bolts, and everytime i had to tighten them, was scared to break them. Still did break enough to not want doing that anymore. That happened mostly on cars with high mileage, so i assume that because of constant temperature change they loose their quality. Chrome helps for sure.

We will probably build a new ad and take prepayments to kick it off. Those that prepay will get the first sets we ship. This should be an item we try to regularly stock, but we will need to buy in rather large batches so there is a chance we may run out and have to wait for another run.

Thanks

Mike

I will buy two or three sets, Mike. I can wait for however long for more people to join to keep production cost down, if needed.
